well I do love a good downpour of summer rain but what I do not like is it gushing down the inside of my backdoor. what a mess, we now have water inside our back door area, the toilet floor and the bathroom floor - 4 towels, two bathmats & 3 hand towels later, finally I have it all mopped up - next stop "plumber"
Not a good ending to a wonderful weekend but looking on the bright side, the garden has had a good soaking and there is that gorgeous "after summer rain" smell in the air.

So we are into the 4th day of the new year and 2012 so far has not been that exciting. My poetry though, I feel is on a path of it's own and my muse is stirring from deep within, I only hope she wont be shy and she will come out to play, she can be a very stubborn lil thing at times.
Well it's late and I'm tired, my bed awaits and so does the new day!
